Professional
- Working at Blue Room Innovation
I currently work as a tech lead on a dataspaces project. I’m comfortable making architectural decisions, meetings, and taking on cross-functional responsibilities when needed.
Working in an environment focused on proofs of concept and pilots has helped me broaden my perspective: prioritizing better, making pragmatic decisions, and understanding how to balance time, goals, and quality depending on the context.
Programming remains a core part of who I am. I enjoy building clear, maintainable, and well-thought-out solutions, and continuing to grow both technically and professionally. - Recently completed projects
I’ve finished the web project for www.angel-europa.com, which allowed me to close a chapter and free up mental focus. Finishing it was just as important as starting it. There’s a post where I go into more detail. - Side projects in the background
I have a new side project fully planned, but it’s not time to make it public yet. Right now, the focus is on executing calmly—without rush or noise.
Personal Projects
- Blog, lab, and digital garden
The blog continues to be a personal lab and a space for expression. Recently, I added a digital garden, which fits much better with how I currently think about and organize ideas.
The main goal isn’t publishing for volume, but leaving a trace of what I learn and making part of my mental structure public.
Most of my notes live privately in Obsidian; the blog is where some of those ideas eventually take shape. It’s not a constant priority, but it is a creative space I return to when I have time and energy. This year, I’ve set myself the goal of writing a bit more. We’ll see how far it goes. - Plugins and open projects
The Obsidian plugin note-status has been very well received: external contributions, GitHub stars, and around 2,000 downloads. Beyond the numbers, the most important thing is that it solves a real need—starting with my own.
Sport
- Returning to climbing
I’ve stepped away from triathlon and returned to climbing after almost two years away. At the time, I needed to stop; now I’m back with a different mindset.
I’ve been training again for just over a month. I’m not doing specific training yet: I’ve lost tendon strength, even though I feel strong muscularly. Right now, the priority is patience and rebuilding a solid base. - Sport as an anchor
For me, sport is discipline, a mental regulator, and an escape valve.
Learning and Growth
- Podcasts
- I’m listening to DECODE, con Dani Novarama, and I really like its approach: technical and professional reflections, explained with calm and clarity.
- Books and reading
- I’ve read quite a few books, but the one that’s had the biggest impact on me in terms of personal growth is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. I’ve actually written a post about it.
- I also regularly read articles on Medium, especially about technology, creative processes, and productivity. They often serve as a source of inspiration.
- Personal infrastructure and privacy
I’ve built a homelab at home, running various services—including video and audio streaming—as an alternative to commercial platforms. Over time, it has grown quite a bit, and someday I’d like to write a post explaining how it’s all set up.
I access it via a WireGuard VPN, and I’ve started using ProtonMail to improve my digital privacy. - Off-screen
I’ve gone back to playing the guitar. I used to play when I was younger but stopped for a while. Now I’ve returned without pressure, with the habit of playing every week—it helps me disconnect from technology and reconnect with a more direct, analog experience.
Last update
I’m in a phase of quiet construction: less noise, more intention; less exhibition, more discernment.
