Working at Blue Room Innovation
Programming has changed a lot this year. With the rise of more advanced AI models, I don't code the way I used to. It's sad, but it's faster, and for professional projects, you have to be fast.I still think through a lot of things myself. I write detailed plans describing what I want to achieve, and then I refine these handcrafted plans with AI. Once the plan is "perfect", I start using AI to accomplish the objective.
So, it's incredibly fast to build new things. I miss the old days when coding was a handcrafted skill and talent was developed through discipline. It feels like cheating, but here we are, all developers developing without actually coding.
Since my last project in January, I've been working on multiple projects. The first one involved implementing a new platform using HumHub, which was easier than ever with AI. Then, I had to analyze two cyberattacks on WordPress websites. I also cleaned up the servers and updated the infected environments with the help of AI.
After that, I had to migrate another WordPress website, a huge one, to a new hosting provider. Before doing so, I carried out a massive cleanup because it was full of legacy code and was a complete mess.
Currently, I'm working on a new project involving data spaces, AI, and DPP. I'm making architectural decisions, attending meetings, and taking risks alongside my partner.

Recently completed projects
I've finished two plugins. The first one is for Obsidian, called Obsidian Note Status, which allows users to add statuses to Obsidian notes. It's great for keeping track of the status of each note. It has over 5,000 downloads, so I'm happy about that, and I use it every day.The other plugin is for Logseq, called Logseq Logbook Timeline. It allows users to summarize the time logs of blocks marked as TODO or DONE. I use it every day to calculate the hours I've worked on each task and keep track of how much time I spend on them.
I've also maintained an illustrator's website, but there's not much to say about it.

Side projects in the background
On my previous Now page, I talked about a new side project that was fully planned. Well, now the first version is almost finished!Version 0.1 will be used for testing purposes and to figure out whether it makes sense to keep working on it or change its direction.
I'm really happy to have this project on my hands. I think it will be very useful, but for now, I don't want to talk about it. I will eventually, once the version is stable.

Blog, lab, and digital garden
Well, with my side projects keeping me busy and being my top priority, I don't have the energy to write for either the blog or the digital garden. However, I've recently finished two books, and I'm currently reading another one that I'd like to write about. So, sooner or later, I'll write something. But as I said, it's not my priority right now.

Plugins and open projects
Well, I've already talked about this, so there's not much more to say. I mean, I have other plugins and small experimental projects to play around with, but they're not useful enough to be worth talking about yet.

Returning to calisthenics
I've stepped away from rock climbing (again). I just got bored, so I quit.I mean, I still go climbing nowadays, but not with the same mindset I used to have. I just go to the crag when I feel like I need it, and I go alone.
I do rope solo climbing, climb easier routes from the ground (up to 6b), and try harder routes on top rope (up to 7b+, although I haven't completed one yet).
Usually, I go to the crag, climb, and leave when I'm physically or mentally tired. It's easier, and it feels different from going with friends. I said different, not better. I love climbing with friends, but right now, I just need to go alone.
I've also been going to the gym, where I now focus entirely on calisthenics. I'm strong, and I enjoy playing around on the bars. I do lots of push-ups and pull-ups.
It's also easier because I can train early in the morning. For me, that's much better than training in the afternoon. Then, I can go to work with a clear mind. So, for now, that's what I'm doing.

Sport as an anchor
I'll keep what I said on my last Now page: For me, sport is discipline, a mental regulator, and an escape valve.I just need to move, embracing movement to feel happier.

Podcasts
I've stopped listening to podcasts because of my side project. They just take up too much mental energy, and right now, I don't want to learn new things. I just want to keep working and listen to music. That's it. -
Books and reading
I've stopped reading articles on Medium. Now, I read newsletters because I don't have as much time as I used to. I prefer reading weekly emails. To be more precise, I only read newsletters from Tom Vogel (The Resilient Entrepreneur) and Tyler (from Fireship).
I've read a couple of books, both in Spanish. The first one was La zona, by Tomás Navarro, and it was good. Just good. I tried to improve my concentration by practicing the concepts taught in the book, but I think I already have good habits and the right mindset. So, I don't really need to follow much of the advice because I'm already doing most of it.The other book was El Club de las 5 de la Mañana, by Robin Sharma. It was really good! I liked the mix of practical lessons, motivation, and the story behind the book. The truth is that I joined the 5 AM Club for two weeks, but I just got tired. I need more sleep, lol. I already had pretty good daily habits anyway, so I enjoyed reading it and felt empowered, but I ended up sticking to my usual routine. Maybe I just plan my days a little better now.

Personal infrastructure and privacy
I've started using the entire Proton ecosystem: Mail, Calendar, VPN, Password Manager, and so on. For me, it's the best out there. -
Off-screen
I keep playing the guitar. I also spend an hour or two playing on my Steam Deck during weekends. Currently, I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077, Grey Hack, and Turing Complete.
Last Update
I'm in a phase of building things and working towards a better future: good energy, good company, good intentions, more work, more discipline, and just keeping going.
